Formerly a missionary of the Catholic Church, Katrina Amaryllis was excommunicated by the Holy Pope himself, who didn't like missionaries wearing yellow rain boots. Wandering, confused, still strong in her faith but heartsore at the loss of her church, Katrina stumbled upon the Super Elite.....Group

Katrina Amaryllis was introduced to the super elite whatever by a mutual enemy (the most evil being alive, who shall remain nameless, as the being's name isn't really known...) and Katrina found a new focus for her faith: fighting evil in the name of her Savior. Katrina's motto is "DOWN WITH THE SYSTEM!". She is something like a modern-day Martin Luther in female guise, except that Martin Luther didn't have the ability to defy gravity....

Powers:

Amaryllis is blessed with the power of her faith, and a few other things:

"Hover-Bomb!"
She can fly, of course (I mean, she is the Flying Nun), so she drops various items on the enemy from above. On big scary monsters she drops bombs and axes and grenades, and for those they don't want to kill she'll drop annoying things like spiders and mustard and other strange things of that sortstrange things

"Truth"
The Flying Nun's most used attack, Amaryllis can utilize her 'Cross of Truth', forcing anyone it is directed at to face the complete, entire truth about themselves, every evil they have done, every lie they have told themselves, every self-deception. Generally only used when a monster is weak, either killing them or turning them to good. This attack takes its toll on the Nun, and so is used sparingly.

"Word of God"
Only occasionally used against enemies, the Nun is known to hit people on the head with the "Word of God", her Bible. Usually used on her fellow good guys, she's constantly trying to have them see the Light of God. Her fellow superheroes do NOT appreciate this

"Sanctuary!"
By yelling "Sanctuary!" to the Heavens, various crosses (usually four) bolt up from the ground and create a protective barrier that shields her and others from enemy fire. Or if she only needs to shield herself, a solitary cross blocks the way of the attack. And if Nun is in midair away from the ground and she attempts this manuever, a golden bubble surrounds her and all is well. This is quite an effective shield and will never falter as long as Nun doesn't stop praying.

"RAPTURE!"
This is one of the MOST powerful attacks in the whole Underground! When in desperate need, and ONLY then, Nun can summon her Arc of the Covenant. By opening it, Nun unleashes the power of her faith and powers up to immense strength! She even gains a temporary ability to send forth horribly strong bolts of light from her hands. But she can only use this booster for so long before she runs the risk of letting the raw power of the arc out into the world. It's ok when it's melting Nazi's but not on unsuspecting ninnies

Faith
The power of Katrina's Faith is unequaled. No matter how much she's in trouble or how many bad things can happen her faith is never shaken. Due to her close relationship to God, Fate will give Katrina the benefit of the doubt and let her slide in some situations.

Items & Weapons:

The Holy Relics of the Flying Nun:

Cross of Truth
Though it drains her of strength, this is the most powerful weapon in the Nun's arsenal, allowing her to reveal all illusions and deceptions of any sort, as well as killing monsters or turning them to the side of the superheroes, a valuable asset.

Bible
The basis of her faith and power, the Nun is strong in the face of all adversity with the help of her Lord. She often tries to convince the other superheroes to take up her faith, but so far she has failed. Still, when all others may collapse before an onslaught, the Flying Nun will still be fighting with the unfailing support of her Faith.

Various droppable items
Against more powerful enemies, the Flying Nun will often borrow Sarcazma's cutting wit when it is in physical form to drop on enemies, often wounding them fatally. She also keeps an assortment of knives, cheese graters, nail files, and other metal items to bomb them with. For the lesser evil beings, the Nun will drop spices, lamps, and anything else she has on hand for minimal amounts of damage, and maximum annoyance.

Rosary Whip
Around her waist, Nun carries a rather elongated rosary given to her by the Pope himself(in exchange for keeping in agreement with the restraining order). The blessed Rosary is quite diverse and can be manipulated to do quite a number of things. This item of power is a bit contreversial since a Rosary belongs to the Catholic Religion and Katrina is apparently Christian -_-;;

The Arc of the Covenant
This little trinket has been passed down Nun's family line for ages and ages, keeping the religion in the clan alive. This little knick knack is in the form of a little golden box with elaborate religions designes...simple yet fancy. Properly named after the actual Arc of the Covenant, this tiny container actually posseses unbridalded power of ages! and it fits in your shirt pocket!

Pandora's Box
When Nun's Arc of the Covenant and Moon's Little Wooden Box are joined back to back they make a bigger box. The summed power of this box is unfathomable. It's so powerful that they've only done it once andthey barely remember what happened but they do know that the world didn't just plunge into another ice age by itself.
