The Spaz was found by The Flying Nun, begging from door to door trying to find food for her hamsters. The Nun adopted her (and her hamsters) at once, bringing her into the Underground as an unofficial member. It wasn't until the day of a very decisive battle that The Spaz's true powers were revealed. She produced a deafening, super-sonic scream that knocked the enemy flat out, and left the Spaz in a state of pure confusion. She was dubbed an official Underground Super Hero at once. The only problem with Spaz's incredible powers is that she doesn't even know that she has them... her powers only shine through when she is in extreme distress or danger, and even after she uses she has no idea of what happened. Only a few of her powers she actually has control over.
Though the spaz is a coupla california rolls short of a japanese special, she does seem to enjoy chasing guys and watching japanese soap operas. Also, she tends to speak in a combination of both English and Japanese, so some Undergrounders feel inclined to keep a translation book handy.

A result of genetic experimentations in Japan, the Amazing Spaz has powers that are uncomprehendable to any of the Undergrounders. The Japanese planned to make a super-human being of sorts, but by putting all their time and effort into giving her super natural powers, they forgot to give her an IQ. So the poor little Spaz was shunned from her home country, and sent off to America where all the weirdos live.
"Hair Ah-taa-ku!"
Spaz's insanely long hair grows even longer in order to strangle... and sometimes tickle... her enemy.
This'll set your ears ringing for hours, if it doesn't deafen you entirely. Spaz's sonic scream not only has the power to blow out an enemy's eardrums, but the sonic waves emmited from her vocal cords also produce intense amounts of raw power, enough to send any enemy to the ground.
If an enemy sees the Spaz begin to twitch, they better watch out, cuz moments after Spaz's psycho mental waves begin to radiate from her genetically altered brain. These invisible waves of energy cause all of the surrounding people to become confused. The only downfall of this attack is that the Undergrounders often fall victim to it as well (except for the Sparkle Puff, who seems uneffected o_O).
Spaz's unnamed power is the most powerful power of all powers that were ever powerful... or something. When in extreme distress, the Spaz suddenly begins to glow and then unleashes her ultimate power, sending everything within a ten mile radius falling flat to the ground. The Spaz is then left confused and bewildered as usual, having no conception of how an entire city could have possibly been totalled.
Chopsticks
Not just for eating or hairpeices anymore. Spaz can use her chopsticks as weapons in combat, and they can cause some really minor damage!
Mr. Moon always starts drooling when The Spaz whips out her steel fans... heck, most of the Undergrounders do. Spaz is actually pretty talented with the Steel Fans in combat, but that doesn't make up for her occasional clumbsiness... >_<
